    Grant County PUD discovered a damaged fiber cable near Mattawa. The damage is extensive and requires immediate repair. Repairs began at 9:30am today, 08/11 and estimated completion time is by 9:30pm tonight. Completion time could flex in either direction, depending on any additional issues PUD uncovers during the repairs.

    Additionally, another fiber cable near Mattawa was damaged when it was inadvertently dug up. Crews are already on site at this location as well, and work on this cable is also expected to be completed by 9:30pm this evening.
