LocalTel - Notice history

Tuesday, March 24th, LocalTel has scheduled necessary network maintenance from 12:00AM to 6:00AM, in Chelan and Douglas County. This maintenance is being done to make critical updates to our network infrastructure and will cause a complete internet and VoIP outage for all fiber customers in Chelan and Douglas County. We anticipate the actual downtime for each customer to be between 15-30 minutes, but we are calling for a longer window in case there are complications.

Date: Tuesday March 24th, 2026

Time: 12:00am – 6:00am

Scope: All Chelan and Douglas County fiber internet customers will lose their internet and VoIP services for 15-30 minutes sometime during the maintenance window. All services should be restored by 6am.

Chelan PUD Emergency Maintenance

TITLE: Windstorm Damage

LOCATION: Manson

START TIME: 3/12/2026 : 10:00 PM

END TIME: 3/13/2026 : TBD

Services Affected: All Services

Purpose: This outage is due to storm damage. Once electrical crews have finished their work, then our fiber crews will be able to start making repairs. Fiber repair will start this evening and will conclude tomorrow.

The Public Utility District No. 1 of Okanogan County will be performing service affecting maintenance on fiber in Omak beginning Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 2359 and concluding Thursday, March 5, 2026 by 0500.

Purpose: Revision of electrical line on Prowell St requires that we move some fiber optic cables.
