Tuesday, November 25th, LocalTel has scheduled necessary network maintenance from 12:01AM to 6:00AM, in Douglas and Chelan County. This maintenance is being done to make critical updates to our network infrastructure and will cause a complete internet and VoIP outage for all fiber customers in Douglas and Chelan County. We anticipate the actual downtime for each customer to be between 15-30 minutes, but we are calling for a longer window in case there are complications.

Wednesday, November 5th, the Grant PUD has scheduled maintenance from 11:00pm to 8:00am the 6th in the Moses Lake and Warden areas.  Please see the information from the PUD below for further details.

Work Summary: We would like to inform you about an upcoming fiber maintenance to repair a damaged cable in Moses Lake near Wheeler RD and Highway 17. This maintenance will be performed during out maintenance window of 12 am to 6 am due to the scale of impact on all customer classes, all Services will be down from 2-6 hours depending on splicing schedule. 

Duration: 9 Hours.

During this maintenance, all systems operating on the fiber will experience service disruptions. It is important to note that the listed systems will lose connectivity for various times throughout the maintenance.

Notes: We would like to inform you about an upcoming fiber maintenance to replace a cable in Moses Lake to increase capacity.  This maintenance will be performed in the overnight hours due to the scale of impact on all customer classes.

Early morning, October 31st, LocalTel has scheduled necessary emergency network maintenance from 3:00AM to 5:00AM, in Okanogan and Lincoln County. This maintenance is being done to make critical updates to our network infrastructure and will cause a complete internet and VoIP outage for all fiber customers in Okanogan and Lincoln County. We anticipate the actual downtime for each customer to be between 15-30 minutes, but we are calling for a longer window in case there are complications.

Scope: All Okanogan and Lincoln County fiber internet customers will lose their internet and VoIP services for 15-30 minutes sometime during the maintenance window. All services should be restored by 5am.

SkyFi/SkyLink Maintenance: Tue, Sept 30 (12 AM–8 AM)

Network Maintenance Notice

When: Tuesday, September 30, 2025 — 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM

Purpose: Upgrading wireless tower backhaul capacity and reliability.

Affected: Some SkyFi & SkyLink customers in the Cashmere, Leavenworth, and Lake Wenatchee areas.

During this maintenance, customers may experience several short service interruptions (lasting up to a few minutes each) as traffic is rerouted. No long-duration outages are expected.

We will be conducting maintenance in Chelan County on SureStream service in coordination with Chelan County PUD tomorrow, Wednesday morning from 12am-6am. It is not expected to be fully down for the duration of this window, but it will go fully down early on, and then individual nodes will come back online throughout the window.

Next Wednesday, the 3rd, the Chelan PUD has scheduled maintenance from 11:00pm to 6:00am the 4th, in the Welch Ave and Springwater area of Wenatchee.  Please see the information from the PUD below for further details.
